The grand vision is linked to artificial general intelligence (AGI), where NFT characters have the same intelligence as humans. The original vision for The Simulation came from films like Westworld, The Matrix, and Loose Guys, where AI-enabled virtual humans compete against each other and blend seamlessly with real people in virtual environments like the Metaverse.
As immersive technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual/augmented reality improve, we will continue to see them converge. As we move into more and more virtual environments and continue to use augmented reality to add a virtual layer on top of the real world, we will continue to see more AI generated content, be it artwork, 3D models, complete environments, even artificial intelligence and conscience with its own intelligence.
