From IRL to URL: Atlanta students immerse themselves in virtual reality with “Creator Zone”

ATLANTA. From the real world to the virtual: NFL and Meta stars have teamed up to give Atlanta students free access to virtual reality.
On Tuesday, NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young and former NFL player Jerry Rice teamed up with parent company Facebook Meta to drive digital transformation with their new 8 to 80 Zone/Creator Zone event hub.
During the opening of the Johnson STEM Activity Center, students had the opportunity to experience virtual reality using the Meta Quest 2 headset.
From 8 to 80 regions are designed to solve typical tasks in the field of technology, games and augmented / virtual reality.
Students can learn more about careers in technology, esports, gaming, and media, as well as training in cutting-edge hardware and software for television, radio, sound recording, graphic design, and game development.
